Heuristic Navigation Removal (Presentation)
Navigation material and other extraneous information on a page add noise to search indexes, contextual advertising indexes, and news-clipping services.Navigation material also makes it hard to identify duplicate content across the web (e.g., the same AP news article on cnn.com and abcenews.com), and for grouping related content.
The following are some examples of Clarifyre's Heuristic Navigation Removal in action. The left panel is the input, the right panel is the output.
