The company is headed by Amarnath Mukherjee. Mukherjee has over 20 years experience in Information Technology, the last ten years of which has been on Search, Deep Text-Mining, Search-Marketing, Social Networks, and Web 2.0 solutions -- leading both R&D and Business Development. Earlier, he used to work on Network Traffic, and created a Traffic benchmark for studying packet video transmissions. This benchmark was used by researchers at Bell Labs, Bellcore, NASA, etc. in their studies. Earlier, Mukherjee worked on the Secure Internet Transaction Processing Webserver at Tandem Computers. Still earlier, he contributed to Microsoft's LanManager as a junior software developer. From 1990-1996, Mukherjee was a member of the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania and Georgia Institute of Technology. His research on network traffic and congestion control was funded by several grants from the National Science Foundation. Mukherjee also served on the NSF Panel, and in technical program committees for networking conferences (Sigcomm and Infocom). Mukherjee holds a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology. His education was funded in part by an IBM Graduate Fellowship, and the National Talent Search Scholarship.
